Pros:

The Horizon Treadmill T-101-3 has been rated by the Treadmill Doctor as one of the “Best Buys” in its category.
Warranties: lifetime frame and motor; 1-year parts and labor.  The cushion of the belt feels good, very stable, no shaking at all.  The frame is very solid and heavy yet it’s easy to move on the four wheels.  It folds down very easily to prevent injuries.  The console is simple to use – hit start, adjust the elevation on the left, adjust the speed, and you are on your way.  Instructions are very intuitive.  Hook your iPod or other music player and no tangle hassle of the earphone cord thanks to the surround speakers.  The quiet motor and little fan on the console are pleasant surprises.

Cons:

The speaker sound is average.  If you want to blast your music you might consider using headphones. The package is very heavy. Make sure you open the box where you intend to assemble and use it.  It’s highly recommended that you have someone to assist you in the assembly of the treadmill.  Most of the negative remarks revolved around the assembly process due to the heaviness of the treadmill.  That’s not such a bad thing because you want to have a sturdy piece of equipment once assembled.

Conclusion:

With the Horizon Fitness T101-3 treadmill most people will find it an excellent buy with a big bang for the buck. Unless you can afford spending $1,000 or more on a treadmill, I will highly recommend this unit.
